Setting up Game Options - Configuring Secret Desires
The Game Options section of the game is pretty important, as you use this to select the gameplay elements that you want to have in your game and a whole load of other stuff too, from pictures shown during gameplay to how and when the game will end. Its important to take your time with this screen so that you get the right kind of game with the right kind of stuff.

Overview:
The Game Options screen is used to configure the game settings and control the way that Secret Desires actually plays. There are many different elements of gameplay in Secret Desires and this screen allows these to be toggled on or off, and increase / decreased in frequency so they occur more or less often. 

From the main menu, press the "Game Options" button to change the options for gameplay. These settings affect both players and should be modified with the mutual consent of each player. 

Gameplay Options:
This is what we would consider the most important part of the game controls, as these controls allow the various elements of gameplay to be switched on or off and adjusted for frequency. For example, using this screen it is possible to switch off the "Crazy Charades" module and switch on the "Perform Activity" module. Slider controls beneath each gameplay element allow the frequency of that elements occurrence in the game to be adjusted. This screen also allows the starting game level (explicitness), game speed to be adjusted. This screen also allows the method of ending the game to be decided.

Values Options:
As every aspect of Secret Desires is as configurable as possible, this screen allows you to change the value of every priced element of gameplay. For example, it is possible to modify the cost of removing or replacing clothing items and it is possible to modify the cost of After Game Gifts.

Hint: It is a good idea to make the cost of replacing clothing greater than the cost of removing it so that players remain naked (or semi clothed) for longer.

Hint: You can change the name used for the male and female genitals here!

Multimedia Options:
This screen allows the various multimedia elements of Secret Desires to be modified. For example, it is possible to switch the game sounds on or off using this screen.

A.I. Tweaks:
These options are for advanced use only. They allow the logic behind the selection of gameplay interactions to be changed. It is possible to use this screen to increase the use of fetishes and accessories used during gameplay.

Saving Changes:
When you have finished making changes to these settings press the Save and Close button. If you wish to close the dialog without saving changes, simply press the Cancel and Close button.

Presets:

Defaults:
Every screen in the game options can be defaulted (i.e., returned to the factory preset settings) by selecting the appropriate Defaults control from the Main Menu. It is a good idea to use this control if you make changes you are unsure of and wish to restore the initial settings of any or all game option screens.
